No separate renewal class. No test-only risk. Just a smarter path back to certified.
Renewing your CPR certification at Bear CPR works exactly the same as getting certified the first time — with one key difference: the online portion adapts to what you already know.
Each lesson module includes a pre-assessment. You can reduce training time and improve skill mastery by taking the online pre-assessment test. The curriculum is then personalized to your knowledge and level of skill which optimizes your learning and shortens overall course time. Then you come in for the hands-on skills session, demonstrate your proficiency, and receive a new American Red Cross certificate valid for two more years the same day.
Same class. Same price. Faster for returning students.
The American Red Cross offers several renewal options, including abbreviated “Review” and “Challenge” courses. Bear CPR offers the blended learning course — and here’s why that's the better choice for most renewing students:
✅ Adaptive online content — pre-assessments skip sections you already know
✅ No all-or-nothing risk — Challenge/test-only courses require a full re-registration if you don't pass
✅ OSHA and employer compliant — blended format with in-person skills session meets all workplace requirements
✅ Same-day digital certificate — American Red Cross, valid 2 years
✅ Small class, real practice — max 12 students, dedicated training center
CPR certifications are valid for 2 years. You may need to renew if you are a:
Don't let your certification lapse. Many employers require a valid card at all times — even a one-day gap can create a compliance issue or interrupt your ability to work.
Classes available mornings, evenings, and Saturdays. Registration closes 48 hours before class.
